And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead [man]: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.”
Rev. 16: 1-6

We are now somewhere near the end of the great tribulation and the pouring of seven cups of tribulation on the earth begins.

Something similar to this happened in Egypt when God punished Egypt.

In the continuation of the sentence it is written who will be affected by these evils:
"on people who have the mark of the beast and who worship its icon." It is quite clear that these evils will "strike" the servants of the Antichrist because at that time the Antichrist will be "worshiped as a god" and those faithful who will then be alive will be saved because it says:
,, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”
Ps.91: 7
During this time, the Apostle Paul prophesied and anyone who does not believe in Christ can expect this and this is true for our time as well, because according to the signs of the times we live in times that are very close to the "end":

We talked about "trumpet angels" earlier, and we can say that these angels are completing what those angels started earlier. When the other angel "trumpeted", he wrote:

What has happened is a catastrophe or a cataclysm but it will be much worse when this angel pours out his cup:

We used to have a situation where a third of the sea was "hit" and now it says "into the sea" and "and every living soul dies in the sea." And this will only be cataclysmic because all those bodies will surface and then they will form horrible stench and it will not be possible to approach the water from the stench and the body and for the water it says, "and fasting blood as from the dead" which will represent the potential possibility of various infections, so it is no longer for any use.
and immediately after:
"And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and springs of water; and became blood. "If we draw a parallel again, we will see that the third river and source was also" struck ".
,, And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.”

and here it says that all rivers and springs will be turned into "blood"
This has already happened in Egypt, but to a lesser extent.

And the fish that [was] in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 7: 19-21
And after this glass we have a break and it says:
"And I heard the angel of the water say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and holy, because thou hast judged this: for thou hast shed the blood of saints and prophets, and hast given them blood to drink, for they deserve it."
God is just to punish this world by destroying every moment, but God persistently begs us to turn to Him and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, but the human race has so "deviated from the right path" that it is increasingly difficult to return to it. suffer and pray for us for some time and then the judgment will come and no prayers or supplications will help anymore because the "cup will overflow" and that is why this water angel "defends" God's righteousness and holiness:
"You are righteous, Lord, who you are, and who was, and holy, for judging this. Because he shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you gave them blood to drink because they deserved it. "Unfaithful people will get what they ask for because many of them will" ask "for blood during the reign of the Antichrist "righteous people, and then God will give them exactly what they wanted, 'blood.'
"You are righteous, Lord, who you are, and who you were." God never changes, and this is exactly what this angel confirms because he says exactly what God told Moses about himself that he is the God who was, then who is and will be because God is eternal.

The angel says that God is eternal, but "also holy, because you have judged this", and when we say that God is holy, it means that he must justly judge and punish sin because it requires holiness, and that is exactly what the angel confirms.
