You should do some music lessons to lower you ego.

Zero ego is enough. Otherwise you get less Starbits when playing a gig. I know, it's a pain but it's also the fastest way to level up.
With a couple of lessons/day, it will start to come down. Also if you have guitars, do guitar lessons instead of basic lessons to get more skill.

Yes. Guitars should raise that. Those can be found with pretty cheap prices.
Agree. Do music lessons, 26 ego is just too high and you are losing opportunities to gain more Starbits. Also, lessons give you a good amount of XP!

with the low price of starbits, It is worth to invest all starbits income to buy more fans. Also you should do some music lessons as your ego is very high here.
