Today I went out onto the ice of the Neva. It is a navigable river, but navigation is closed in winter. Of course, it's forbidden to go out on the ice officially. Конечно, официально выходить на лёд запрещено. Но есть негласное правило, что если нельзя, но очень хочется, то можно.
