Lithium is not as rare as people make it out to be. It’s in sea water so would be very easy to get out. There is also a company here in New Zealand that developed technology to get lithium from the slurry from geothermal vents. We don’t need to mine it at all
This is great. As long as the process is not very complicated, we can get it cheap.
