A few kilometers from the city of Berlin, is the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Given its proximity to the capital, it became one of the first, in order to function as a testing laboratory, where mass extermination techniques, military equipment and weapons were tested, as well as the resistance of the prisoners. It is not a pleasant visit, but given the impact it has had on the history of the world and especially on the European one, it is advisable to visit this type of place with the respect it deserves. In my case, I visited it in the middle of winter, with temperatures below ten degrees below zero, which made me understand in a more graphic way, the barbarity that existed in those fields.
