Philippines is truly blessed by a natural wonders and attractions.

Composed of 7,107 islands, the Philippines have unique tourist destinations.

First: Banaue Rice Terraces

A 2000 years old terraces that is carved into mountain of ifugao. Presently, Filipinos still plant rice and vegetables on the terraces. It is largely believed that the terraces were built by hand.

It is definitely a natural wonder that combines the harmonious interaction between people and the environment creating a breathtaking landscape of great aesthetic beauty.

UNESCO described it as " a memorial to the history and labour of more than small scale of the farmers have created a landscape based on delicate and sustainable use of the natural resources.

Second: The Chocolate Hills of Bohol

The area of 50 square kilometers has consist of at least 1,260 hills. The Chocolate Hills it the signature and most famous tourist attraction in Bohol.

The Committee on Geological Science declared the Chocolate Hills as the country 3rd National Geological Momunent in recognition of its uniqueness, special characteristics, importance, and high senic value.

Third: Tubbataha Reefs

Since Tubbataha was discovered by the divers in the late 70's, it has become the most remarkable coral reefs on the planet.

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is a protected area of the Philippines, it is a World Heritage Site, has a unique example of an atoll reef with very high density of marine species.

Fourth: Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary

The Mount Hamiguitan is the only protected forest for its unique bonsai field or 'pygmy' forest of 100 year old trees is an ultramafic soil.

A mountain is located in Davao Oriental.

UNESCO described it, " The property showcases terrestrial and aquatic habitats at different elevations, and includes threatened and endemic flora and fauna species, 8 of it found only in Hamiguitan.

Fifth: Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is also called the Underground River, features a spectacular limestone karst landscape which is also protected by the country. The site boasts a full  'mountain-to-sea' ecosystem and represents a significant biodiversity conservation.

UNESCO declared it as World Heritage  beacuse of its unique ecosystem and important forest in Asia.

One of the largest cave rooms in the world while the river winds through it before flowing directly intk West Philippines Sea.

Formations of the forest represent eight of the thirteen of the forest types found in Asia such as beach forest, mountain forest and mangrove forest.

Sixth: Mayon Volcano

Is an active volcano situated in the province of Albay, aslso known as Mt. Mayon.
Its almost symmetric conical shape, it is reowned as "perfect cone".
Featuring fascinating scenery that attracts tourists around the world, Mt. Mayon is the answer to Japan's Mt. Fuji.

Mayon Volcano Park covers an area of 5, 775.7 hectares including its adjacnet surroundings.
For those who want to see the volcano's crater, there is a tour operators offer an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Visitors will see a panoramic view of majestic volcano that stands 2, 462 meters with the based circumference of 62.8 kilometers or 40 miles.

Seventh: Hundred Islands

It is composed of mainly 124 islands which have white sand beaches and inland forest. This area is protected  at the province of Alaminos, Pangasinan.

The islands are popularly known for its natural geological formations. The islands are scattered in Lingayen Gulf covering an area of 16.76 square kilometers.

It is believed that the island is 200 million years old and actually corals that extend inland. The lowering of the sea level has exposed them to the surface.

An archipelago composed of 7, 107 islands. Thr Philippines offers unique tourist destinations which includes beaches in boracay, the rices terraces and diving sites in Palawan.
