Broken Heart Syndrome

Hey guys! This is @aquariyoursxx once again with another article for all of you to enjoy and learn new things. Today's about broken hearts so I hope you enjoy~!

So it started when I was scrolling through my feed in Facebook. I saw a post which resurfaced after years, it was talking about you can literally die from a broken heart.

I did some research whether it's true or not and also to know what the process, symptoms and the treatments are for this. As I did my research, I stumbled upon a syndrome called, Broken Heart Syndrome.

Broken heart syndrome is a temporary heart condition that's often brought on by stressful situations and extreme emotions. The condition can also be triggered by a serious physical illness or surgery. It may also be called stress cardiomyopathy, takotsubo cardiomyopathy or apical ballooning syndrome. MayoClinic

So Broken Heart Syndrome, even when it is completely unrelated to the heart strings, is also caused by extreme emotions that can also be brought by break-ups, divorce, loss of loved ones and even winning a lotto. Happy or not, as long as it's an extreme feeling, it may cause the syndrome. So I think that's why it's also called cardiomyopathy because empathy and sympathy, it involves feelings? Idk I just thought of it hahaha

Anyway, but how do you know you have one? The symptoms include:

  • Chest Pain

  • Shortness of Breath

Are you getting scared because you often have those when you experience extreme emotions? Don't worry because Broken Heart Syndrom is only a temporary heart condition. Patients being brought to the hospital for the said syndrome are found to recover after a week or two.

But don't be so confident and just trust that it's temporary because if you have the symptoms permanently and even without doing or experiencing anything, you have to visit the doctor's clinic.

So to all heartbreakers out there, I hope your hearts break~ ^^

Don't forget to take care of yourself! Exercise, and have a healthy lifestyle. That's all!

I hope you liked and learned from this article of mine. Hit the like button, comment your thoughts or experiences from a broken heart and you might get an upvote if it's one of a kind.

Thank you!

From what I read it doesn't have. They have differences. And also, when someone gets hospitalized, the blood tests wont see it as a heart failure.
