Spooky action at a distance

In the last article I talked about superposition, the ability of a particle like atom or electron to be present at more than one place simultaneously. It had been proved in the lab but as to why it is happening has not been understood and explained.

Now if we take a pair of electron that has been together for some time and separate them, then if we separate them by a long distance, then also they remain entangled and behave similarly. It is like twin brothers living on two different cities, if one raises his left hand then the other will also simultaneously raise his left hand. Though this was just an example but in the sub atomic world this is a reality. For this subatomic communication to happen speed of light is not a factor. We know that as per our understanding nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, but in this case it is a reality.

A lab experiment was conducted where a photon was subdivided into two sub photons by polarization technique (this happens with your polarized sun glasses also). Each part was kept separate but their actions were similar and simultaneous. Now even if the two sub photons are kept at two end of the universe then also they would behave the same way. How does this communication take place even at a speed faster than that of light? This was called quantum entanglement.

Einstein did not approve of this interpretation as nothing can travel faster than light and called it ‘spooky action at a distance’.

Strange things are happening in the quantum world and we don’t have any explanation to it. There is a lot more to quantum entanglement and it is far more complex but for the sake of explaining it has been kept simple here. It seems the fundamental laws of nature break down at quantum level. It requires further investigation at scientific level.

At philosophical level there have been some explanations and a somewhat similar experience has been written in the book ‘The autobiography of a Yogi’ by the author.

If subphoton are behaving in the same way even though they are polarized, can we conclude that everything in the universe is created from the same source or grassroots reality is eternal and it will never ever change.

If big bang theory is correct then it can be concluded that the ultimate source of creation of everything is the same. The variations we see today are just the byproduct of the mixing of various elements under different conditions.

Thanks for your reply. Yes thats very true about variations we see today are as to why. But off topic question from yours last article regarding who is observer, is it human or electron itself?

I plan to write on that also, both from scientific viewpoint and philosophical view point, in a few days.

You can see this link, I have several communities. https://read.cash/@Mictorrani/my-communities-invitation-rules-updates-2420ab20 From the beginning they were meant to keep order of my own writings, then the role of communities changed so I opened them up for others to an extent, then the role of communities changed again, and that has become the norm at read.cash, that everything is changed all the time.

Yes, quantum mechanics will have some surprises for us yet. Science is progressing. Brain research is advancing. Who knows what else will be discovered.
