America drops first atom bomb ' little boy'on Hiroshima. 80,000 people dead due to blast and 35000 injured. Later 60,000 more people died due to radiation and other injuries during the year.

'Elona gay' a B29 super fortress bomber flown by Paul w Tibbets Jr dropped the bomb at 08.15 AM. The plane had a 12 member crew. Below you can see the pilot before taking off to drop the bomb.
