Focus on Views, subscribers later

For a long time I have surf the internet related to communities involving article or promotion of content, one thing that I have seen is that mostly of the authors focuses on getting subscriber as a startup. I'm not saying that it's a bad idea for this kind of method to be done first before boosting the views of a certain article.

In my opinion, why not focus on getting more views first then subscriber will just pop up on your notification as time goes by. Not just you'll be begging for someone to subscribe you but also to get legit subscriber that will actually support you in the long run not just within the community but maybe also to other social platform on the internet.

Begging for someone to subscribe you don't actually give you advantage to attract views on the long run but it will just occur at the start. Yes you will have a lot of subscriber but how many of them are actually the legit one that will support you on the long run? Maybe 20% or 40% at most of the total subscriber. Attracting subscriber by views for each of your article publish maybe a good start to be done in a social community. Yes it will take time before subscribers pops up, but those subscriber that you have by doing it are all legit - means that they subscribe you out of their own will because they saw something from you that makes your articles interesting. Then they will just start viewing all of the articles you publish expecting interesting articles they may read. So what do you think?
