Test on a few files Before running the script on all 107 files, test it on 2 or 3 files to verify that the data is transferred correctly and that the template macros are active in the new .xlsm files. 2. Run the full process Once validated, run the script to process all the files. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the workbooks. At the end, you will have 107 new .xlsm files with your macros embedded. 3. Results and maintenance You have now automated the application of the .xltm template to all your files without manual intervention. For future files, you can simply add the new .xlsx file to the source folder and run the script again. A considerable time saver!
