Adoretus Sinicus or Chinese rose beetle is having a good time on the leaf of our Coleus plant. This is a macroshot, spotted near our terrace while sipping my coffee a months ago. This kind of beetle are damaging the ornamental plants especially the adults one are the more aggressive. They are nocturnal, during daylight you can see them on the bark of a plant or tree and behind the leaves. The brownish color and shiny wings are alluring. They are not elusive, I saw on the leaf in the morning and until in the afternoon still there.
