I was surprised to this itchy caterpillar crawling around at the zinnia plant. The flower and leaves still intact and no sign of damages. Be careful with this creature, the hairs on this caterpillar can cause a very itchy rash on your skin. In case you accidentally touched it, I have home remedy to get rid of the itchiness. Just wash gently with soap and water the affected areas then make baking soda paste. Apply the paste on the skin that causes itchiness. It works for me this solution. If that doesn't works for you, try antihistamine cream. After I captured the catterpillar I transferred it in our backyard there's a lot if wild plants there.
