The first day of a year was a tiring day for me. We attended the 3rd birthday of my nephew's son. They held the reception at the roof top of their house and it was a great view at the top. I enjoyed the event and the weather is perfect. The cold spell still around.

My first sunrise photography this 2022. Got up early this morning to attend the mass. After mass i had brisk walking at the oval until the sun is started to show up. Beforehand i captured two photos without silhouette but they look blurred and dull. That's i decided to capture another photos but this time with man silhouette while walking. Finally, i've chosen these images sharing with you all.

I ordered online these cookies. First time i tasted the cookies during a birthday celebration last month in the ourcommunity. It's delectable and not so sweet. Supposed to be I ordered with cashew nuts on top but they delivered to me with the colored chocolates. Anyhow it would be fine, my sons loved this flavour.

Craving for this green salad with thousand island dressing. Actually i wanna have this last Christmas or New year but been busy and only now made possible. I have only this for dinner, started to diet again. Holiday season is over, back to reality and face the new year with full of hope.

I captured these stunning sceneries recently. This is a park and recreation area. I used to jog here when am still in university. Now i seldom to visit this place. As you can see, the park is empty due to pandemic. Hopin this year everything will be back to normal so that we can move on freely.

Lovely rose flower in our yard. My mom's one of her favourite flower next to orchids blooms. I wanted to have other colours in our garden but unluckily it didn't grow those we planted before due to weather. Rose flowers it can attract butterflies and moths. How i wish in the future we can plant and grow other colours.

Slices of melon... our dessert for tonight. Really sweet and i bought this morning at the local market. Still pricey even the holidays is over. After i removed the seeds i placed it inside the freezer coz i wanna have it super cold when eating. Good night noisers, hopin you had a great Wednesday.

Zinnia blooms by night, tried to captured our zinnias at night and how they look like. For me they look prettier, or because of their vivid colour that's why. I don't know what kind of variant we had, the leaves are different from the normal zinnias that i have encountered everywhere. Anyway, all of the variants are awesome and wondrous.

Seafoods dish vegetables with quail eggs. I just captured this dish from my nephew's birthday. This is so delectable and soon wanna try this at home. I think it's almost similar to sipo eggs recipe that usually served in any occassions.

A days ago had a morning walk and got my attention these Bougainvillea blooms. This is new to me the orange colour. I always encountered the red colour. The owner of the plant gave me stems and told me try to plant them in our yard. Actually i planted them already and hopin they will grow healthier.

My neighbour's jackfruits, one of my favourite fruits. In these photos the fruits still unripe. The flesh has a sweet and distinctive flavour. You can eat also the seeds, whenever we have this, i always boiled the seeds with salt. Sometimes the unripe one you can cook as vegetable. A good source of vitamin D and have a lot of health benefits that you can acquire.

My lunch this afternoon, green salad and roasted chicken. I did'nt eat rice and this would be enough. Am getting fat and avoiding too much rice these days. Hoping by jogging and walking i can lose some weight.

Look at this beautiful creature crawling on hibiscus bloom. I can not imagine how pretty this caterpillar when it turn into butterfly. This is in our yard that's why i transferred the caterpillar before it damage the flower.

Our dinner prawns sauteed in oyster sauce. I added fried tofu and some veggies. I used sesame oil for the aroma. Prawns still pricey In the market, that's why i cook only once in a blue moon. I feel full even i ate a little rice.

The amazing colours of our Chinese hibiscus. When i saw this beauty in the morning it gives me more energy and positivity in life. We need that to combat negativity comes on our way. Anyhow, i just wanna enjoy the bloom every minute of it coz the freshness and beauty will last only a day.

I am not feeling great today due to mild fever. That's why here's our dinner for tonight. Fried ham with chopped bacon in it. I loved these with sliced tomatoes but my kids preferred to have lime juice and soy sauce. It's really important to have canned goods in your pantry. Anytime you can cook them if your lazy or no time to cook those long process foods.

The macrophotography of Lime butterfly perched on Rosal flower in the garden. Those eyes really amazed me, thankful it's not elusive and we're able to captured it beautifully. These creature attracted to scented rosal blooms. My mom always put rosal in our bedroom before coz of the good smell.

My breakfast, homemade fried rice. I used sesame oil for the aroma, oyster sauce, chopped ham and scrambled egg. Chili garlic paste and onion leeks for the toppings. Let's eat noisers, still have in the kitchen and enjoy my healthy morning meal.

This itchy caterpillar started to damage our Chinese hibiscus bulb and soon to become a beautifulfull blown flower. And surely it will not happen to shine. As usual i transferred the caterpillar to the host plant.

I made this fruit salad last New Year's eve. My version i always put less condensed milk that's why not so sweet. On New Year's day, Am craving for it from the left over. Scooped some on my plate and i mixed it with sliced/whole fresh grapes for a change. It turned out tastier and first time did this way.

Unique decorated light bulbs spotted at the garden of a mall that i visited recently. I stopped this place for a while and enjoyed the ambiance. I think these bulbs looks great at night. How i wish seated one of the benches and and sipping my coffee.

I think this is perfect for the cool weather. Coffee and rice cakes, my breakfast. I didn't buy the cakes, a neighbours gave it. In fairness they're both delectable. But i tasted them too sweet, anyhow my mug of coffee is no sugar and 1 slice of the rice cake is enough, let my sons to finish it.

Took these images at the wedding event i attended last month. They called this red pineapple, i asked the event coordinator is this edible, why the leaves are different? It's unusual to me, and yes we can eat the pineapple. Beautiful plant indeed. This is prettier if you have a wide space in your garden.

My sunrise this morning, let's start the week with full of positivity. Jogging is the best way to lose weight and in great shape always. The weather still cool and sunshine is essential these days. Even you do outdoor activities, just follow health ptotocols and for me avoiding crowded places is the best way combat covid19.

It makes me full with these viands. Fried fish and Lomi soup. The soup is perfect with the cool weather. I always cooked soup whenever there's any fried dish on the table. My sons made spicy lime soy sauce for the fried fish.

Kids favourite.... Fried chicken with gravy. I cooked just now these fried chicken stuffed with some secret ingredients. I made as well the gravy to balance the taste. My sons craving for these and maybe fed up already the usual recipes like chicken soup, Porridge and cooked with sauce.

I bought watermelon the other day. It's juicy and sweet, it's really worth the price. The left over i sliced in a diced shape and put overnight in the freezer for tomorrow. I preferred chilled waterlon, for me it's tastier.

Mini harvest from our backyard. I can save a lot with these lady's finger, eggplant, bitter gourd and red chillies. No need to buy in the market, just add some ingredients to make one vegetable dish. If you have space in your yard try to plant anything that the family can enjoy soon.

I cooked fried noodles for our snack. This recipe uses rice sticks mixed with pork, chicken, beef, prawns or it's up to you what would you like to have or what's available in you kitchen. Then added the veggies, I always put celery with this recipe. This is popular in any occasions especially birthday.

A blessed Sunday everyone. It's a gloomy day in our area and still can feel the cold spell. I was able to captured this dragonfly that perched on our pink vinca bloom. These are macrophotography, hard work really paid off, yes we knew this kind of creature is elusive. Just focus and be quiet then everything be fine.

Our viand this lunch fermented mustard sauteed in garlic, onion and fresh tomatoes. I added scrambled eggs to add flavour in the recipe. This is how it looks in the second photo then i cut them into small pieces as you can see in the third photo. The last two images that was the finish product. Am sure some of you are not familiar with this kind of recipe. This is best with fried fish.

I took these images a months ago. That time the whole night is raining. When I woke up in the morning I saw these raindrops on the leaves of our fire plant. I was amazed by the crystal drops while capturing them. Even before after the rain I always find raindrops on leaves and flowers. It was magical for me while looking at them especially on flowers.

Got this sweet orange Papaya from our backyard. This will be the last harvest and only fruit from the tree. Look at the seeds, you can count them. Our dessert for tonight, the left over i cut them into cubes and place it inside the freezer coz I want them super cold for tomorrow. My sons requested this healthy veggies. I cooked for them squash and long beans with sliced chicken. I sauteed it in fresh tomatoes, garlic and onion. I always use chicken instead of pork. Am glad that my sons any vegetables i cooked they will eat with a smile on their face. Since their childhood have veggies recipe on our table.

Ealy visitor in our yard, this cute Moth enjoying the pink vinca flower. I was able to captured it in a macro photography. It was an awesome experience taking a photo this pretty creature closer. Thankful for having a vinca plants that bearing endless blooms all year round.

I just prepared simple meal, been busy the whole day. No time to cook, anyway these salted eggs and cracklings with fresh sliced tomatoes would be enough. First time to eat salted egg not too salty unlike those i've eaten before can't finish to eat even just the half. In these photos have two cups of rice and only for photoshoots. Only one cup for me actually.

Last month i visited my uncle and he asked me to pick the fruits of tree cucumber. So i harvested some and maybe i've got almost four kilos. The fruits are used as souring agent in different recipes, sweetened candy or even juice. Some of the fruits i made them fermented. Before tried to plant a tree cucumber but it didn't grow.

Still remember i captured this creature last year. Browsing my gallery and don't know what to post until i found this coloured dragonfly rested on zinnia bulb. This kind of dragonfly is new to me coz i always encountered are those the green colour. It's quite elusive that's why only one photo i captured. Well, this will be enough and hopin you will love it all.

The other day i cooked peanuts that i bought in a supermarket. I fried them in garlic with red chillies and sprinkled with iodized salt. These are perfect while watching movies on television. These are better than those junk foods we can buy in a grocery store.

My dinner squid sauteed in fresh tomatoes, white vinegar and soy sauce. I seldom cook this kind of recipe. My tip for cooking squid is don't overcooked, coz it becomes rubbery and tough. Just cook it for a very short time at least 5 minutes or once the colour changes. Perfectly cooked squid is tender and flavourful.

I harvested some lime fruits from our lime tree at the backyard. The tree is bearing fruits all year round. It's a big blessings to us this tree coz no need to buy lime in the market and some fruits shared to neighbours and relatives. That's why i always prepared lime juice for my sons. Full of vitamin C and other health benfits can get with these limes.
