I am not good at writing reviews of products, restaurants, bars or café. Today I will try myself to post a review or shall I say my dining experience in one of the known burger houses in Quezon City. You may have seen me posting  about landmarks here in my local area, I’m not sure if I have provided you helpful information about the place. You know I’m not used to creating stories of parks and historical places, but for the goodness of read.cash I am doing it now.

It’s not my habit of telling stories about places I have not been to, or providing you information about tangible things which I have not even seen or touched. If you have seen from my post contradicting what I say, please feel free to quote it in the comment section. All contents from my previous post are about life experiences, opinion, fiction and sometimes from my dreams.

We can also tell stories about places, events and things that we have not experienced in reality, but we must be a wide reader of such information like origins and history.

So, this is The Porch. I wasn’t familiar with this place, only when the senior manager from the department I am working with decided to have lunch out and invited the team. You know working at a BPO company is fun, employees tend to always have lunch out and team building.

Anyway, the place is quite good, I can not  say it is as good as any burger house as it’s my first time visiting that place. It’s more like a residential house turned into a family business. Honestly I did not research the history of this place. I think their signature is this large burger, not sure if there are other burger houses in the city serving similar sizes of burgers.

It was served in eight slices or perhaps depends on how many people will be sharing the burger. They also have French fries with cheese powder along. I forgot those side dishes with mayo and ketchup dips. I can’t remember anymore as this photo was taken five years ago (sorry na) 😂. I think it was chicken wings and potato.

Iced tea was paired with the food and I think it was bottomless, not sure (pwede ulit mag sorry?). 😂

One slice has made my tummy full. I am the type of person who does not eat too much no matter how delicious the food could be or perhaps I haven’t tasted the most exquisite type of dish in the world.

I am not sure if they are fully operational now because of the world health crisis.

The Porch is located at 113 Anonas Ext, Diliman QC. They are open 24/7 from 10:AM to 10:00 PM.

I can relate about the team lunch because I used to be a customer service representative in the call center industry. Oh well, I resigned after a year because of stress and graveyard shift. 🥴
