BCH Meetup in Mozambique — February Community Recap Last Saturday, February 21, we held the long-awaited BCH Meetup. The day was hot — typical of February here in — but it wasn’t enough to stop the event. Around 2:00 PM, some of those who had confirmed began to arrive. Others who couldn’t attend for various reasons apologized and promised to join the next Meetup scheduled for March (I will confirm the date soon). By 4:00 PM, we were already out on the street ready to kick off the BCH meetup. Taking BCH to the Streets The idea was clear: turn the meetup into a true celebration — and nothing felt more right than doing it in the street. For those who followed the first Meetup, it was held in my backyard. This time, I intentionally wanted it to be public and visible.

And so we began. As planned, we: Spoke about BCH and its integration into Mozambican society Shared a brief history of Bitcoin for context Helped participants open new wallets Distributed Cashstamps to the audience As I mentioned in previous posts, these participants are newcomers to the crypto world — but they are hungry to learn and use BCH. New BCH Ambassadors Onboarded Thanks to God, we had participation from: A gym owner Two students Two workers who use cash daily Starting this Saturday, they are all taking BCH usage seriously. Here’s the impact already in motion: The **gym owner** will promote BCH inside his establishment The **students** will promote BCH at their university The **workers** will use BCH to save money and introduce it to colleagues This is real grassroots adoption — exactly how circular economies begin. Growing the Movement In short, it was a great celebration. I’m confident that next month we will see even bigger participation. If we combine the first and second Meetups, we now have **11 BCH ambassadors** actively spreading adoption. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Together, we will continue bringing BCH to more people locally — **onboarding one person at a time.** Support the Next Meetups You can continue supporting these grassroots efforts here: `bitcoincash:qp5wsnlhh8fesu42clk9z7ztq7l32ck57savwmcx44` The meetups will remain regular, and our goal is clear: **Finish the year with many more people onboarded to BCH.** ****Note****: Some **Cashstamps** were also shared within the parish community, a few were given to football players on Sunday, and three were handed to the gym owner so he can distribute them directly to his students. This kind of organic spread is exactly how grassroots adoption grows — naturally and person by person.
