Yfdex.finance another hit and run DeFi scheme just vanished 2 days after launch taking with them $20M in customers funds.

Life savings from people on different parts of the world have been stolen with the criminals on the run now after invented a well organized scheme which convinced creditors to enter in this mania of DeFi huge profit returns. The criminals made a huge campaign on telegram, medium, twitter and builded a website to host the "fake" project and promised to be the one, giving immense returns from their tokens.

Unfortunately that was a well orchestral and monumental scheme which took with them $20,000.000 from victims, with this ones now crying while the "Yfdex gang" on the run with they project on exit scam and their bag filled with all that amount may be now on Fiji Islands living like magnates using peoples funds.

Now their official websites, Twitter accounts, Telegram are offline in a complete state of abandon...investors who have Heart problems may be now hospitalized due to the incident with all that losses who wouldn't?!

I believe in some of this projects that appear on the DeFi world but many of them I bet that 90% of them are pure SCAM and are targeting peoples funds, and this won't stop, people aren't thinking right now and believe that in a glimpse could be rich, and that is a full plate for criminals that want money and will use smart contracts to convince people to invest with them! First was the case of SUSHIswap who showed some flags of exit scam, but the founder transfered the admin keys to the FTX CEO and saved the investors to a new heart attack!

Invest but invest wisely and only put on hold just what you can afford to lose, scammers are always looking to steal from people and cause more victims.

My pleasure I hope with some insistence from my side and accompanied with some literacy more people could be aware about scams and remember to invest only what they are willing to lose, the world is corrupted by scammers.

This is nothing exceptional to hear about, and it was predictable that this will come. Most of the folks invest blindly in this DeFi hype.

This is so sad. I can't imagine the reactions of the people who supported and believed in this project. They put their trust on the people who built it, and in return, their money are stolen because they got scammed. I remember my first experience on investing on a coin that didn't even work out. It is tragedy. Well, investing is indeed a gamble. That is why there is a rule that you should only invest what you can afford to lose. And don't put all your money on a single basket. Diversify your money and investment so that when things go wrong like this, you know you still have money left for you.

You nailed on it, only invest what you afford to lose, this rule apply to anything in life, and this guys with their plans made $20M from innocent victims who believed in their scam and invested their life savings on them for nothing hope the authorities could track them down.

I am also an investor that is why I know this rule, and everytime I invest a portion of my money, I make sure that the project is legit and not just gonna take my money from me. One day, these bad people will be tracked down and get the money back to the innocent people. They will never get away with it because it is wrong to fool people for money. Indeed love of money is the root of all evil on this Earth.

Yes there is an international joint track force to catch this bad people but won't be easy to find all of them but some will get caught and pay their debt with their victims they can't just fool people and run with their savings, they will pay soon or later.

That is good to know that justice will soon be served, and that there is hope for the victims to get their money back. I believe that karma will haunt them, and they will not be able to get away with it no matter how hard they try. They might get away with it, but karma will never leave their side.

Let's hope they got caught soon and pay that money they are stealing from their victims, have a great day🙌

Its a sad news but I must say DeFi does not have to anything to do with it. Investors discretion is required. I have invested in Trustswap staking pool in DeFi at uniswap and its running smoorhly. Thanks for the alert.

Aww that's really hurt 😢. Imagine your one of them. DeFi is the new trend in crypto market that's why lot's are willing to gamble their own money without any measure. Well, the rule is Invest what you can afford to lose.

$ 0.00

That is a huge money to lose and people still gamble with their money they are willing to lose money or earn big, so they will continue to lose it big!

This is simply terrible. That line in your post of only investing what you can afford to lose should be taken to heart especially by those who wish to delve into investing in crypto.

People should understand that what scammers want is to suck all your money and if you allow it mate, you will lose all your money and that is for sure, and that "only invest what yoj are willing to lose" isn't to throw away is to take it seriously!

Another scam. It was the ICO's, and now, it is DeFi. We should be extra careful.

Yes @tsaft this Defi euphoria will surely take peoples money and make people stay in hospital with heart attacks for losing their life savings.

Ouch... That is a big one! Here is a funny story for you to look into in the DEFI world. Someone published and deployed the CRV token and CurveDAO contracts before the team working on it. Go read about it. It is quite mindblogging.

I saw this one two, the man invested a lot to deploy that smart contract without team allowance and without telling them, and when saw that I wondered "how can a third party deploy a smart contract?" ...and what are his motives to do that or why isn't building own project?!..

All these questions makes it even harder to believe. Some says it was marketing and staged.

$ 0.00

Well we can just believe what the news says but I barely don't believe in them and that project soon or later will be on papers with serious problems that guy who deployed it I believe that he pit something on the smart contract as insurance to any time steal from it and run with people funds, let's just wait to follow it!

That was huge fund that was stole did that thing cannot track ?

No way to track that they built a smart contract deployed it received ETH to lock on them and just take the locked funds in two days and run with them..probably in a casino in Vegas or in an island living big😀

It isn't to be send on any bank ? That record could be track which bank account goes thru and who withdraw from that account. Its a big funds so it will naturally have record of it.

No Bank involved in DeFi, all the funds stolen are in Ethereum ETH assets so they can exchange it any place they want😓

Thats true it can exchange so there is track record in program data
