On the dark Night
The night was spread out; The curtain on the ground spreads out; Crouch in the grass in the bush and the forest Climb to the furrows and trees high. And nothing is free Darkness encompasses all around; The earth and heaven and the air Will not be seen in the evening. Everything was quiet; The moon glanced and watched On the stars small Jokes and twists. All night long The sky was dim with light; Shame on the world what deep sleep And on the go, dreams. And there it is The lamps are kept ready; Not leaving, not tiring Peacefully waiting. They are waiting The start of a new morning; And night lights are fun Immediately leave and rest.
