Sylhet is a divisional city in the northeastern part of Bangladesh. If you go to Sylhet, you will be able to visit all

the beautiful tourist spots. If you visit Sylhet, you must visit Ratargul Swamp

Forest, Bichanakandi, Jaflong, various fountains, Lala Khal, tea gardens and other places of interest.

What will you see?

1) Ratargul Swamp Forest:

Ratargul Swamp Forest (Ratargul Swamp Forest) is the only swamp forest and wildlife sanctuary in Bangladesh. The forest area is 3,325.61 acres, of which 504

acres were declared as wildlife sanctuary in 1983. During the monsoon season, the forest has four months of heavy water.

Then the small canals become footpaths, and then the water takes refuge in the dug beels of the forest department, where the aquatic animals take refuge.

In nature's own pastime, there is a land of infinite beauty, like a stone bed. If you step into the clear water of the fountain coming down from the hills of Meghalaya state, you will feel all the peace of the world here !! In the dry season, the real

form of Bichanakandi is not visible! Its real beauty in the rainy season! Bichanakandi distance from Sylhet station is about 64 km away! The condition of the road is very bad! Yet all the fatigue is gone when you see the boundless pastime of this beauty !!

How to go:

Rent a micro / laguna from Sylhet city and get off at Hadarpar via Gowainghat-Lama Bazar. The distance from Sylhet is about 64 km!

Most of the roads are in very bad condition.

Bichanakandi is about 30-40 minutes by motor boat from the boat dock. Bargain for the boat. Lots of syndicates here. About 2/3 times the price will go down. We rented Laguna for the whole day! I

fixed 4,000 / -! And from Hadarpar boat ghat I went to see Bichanakandi and Panthumai springs in a reserve boat. 1,800 / - for boat rental! However, a wide syndicate of boat docks! You will get 2/3 times the price and so you have to bargain!

But when you reach Bichanakandi after overcoming such a hassle, you will forget everything.

3) Panthumai Jharna:

The Panthumai waterfall is located entirely in India. If it is not in the rainy season, its real form cannot be seen.

Going to Panthumai point, you can only see (take pictures) from Bangladesh, BSF is standing below (with rifle in hand). Take a look at it after going to bed. It takes about 30 minutes by trawler from Bichanakandi.

Lalakhal is located in Jaintapur upazila, 35 km from Sylhet city. Lalakhal is located just below Cherrapunji in India. The river originates from the Cherrapunji hills and flows through Bangladesh. The place is quite suitable for feeling the

solitude of nature. Dense green forests in the hills, rivers, tea gardens and a combination of different species of trees across the saliva. The form of the moon-washed river is to be remembered for a lifetime.
