Whoooo-wee what a day! Not many quiet moments to relax between calls on the desk today (hence my lack of noise). I Found what might be the most technically impressive NES game created to date - in April of this year somebody dropped a 3D ray-casted game that doesn't even require any additional mappers/hardware to run. Most NES games after 1990 were including additional memory modules and other expansions on the game boards to allow the games to go beyond the basic hardware of the NES itself. ...I didn't think I was going to stream tonight, but I might just start up a stream to test this out. I can't really relate to the song, but the melody and rhythm in the chorus is just so good. You know those people who can just listen to the same song on repeat for most of the day? Yeah, I'm one of them. Hate away, haters 😂 The chorus is just so... rakrakan lol. On the note of "Rakrakan" I've had a few people ask about the "Rakrakan-O-Meter" specifically, what the hell it's about lol. "Rakrakan" is a Filipino word I learned from the Noise fam (tbf every Filipino word I've learned has been from somebody on here hahahaha). As I understand, the word is basically the embodiment of something that's "metal AF". The heavy metal attitude, aesthetic, vibe, etc. It's a pretty awesome word that we don't really have an original English word for. I try to use it in a way to forewarn how hyped up a song is gonna be before somebody accidentally makes their ears bleed 🤣 In other music news, I'm looking forward to August 13th when Twitch user Destrox88x's band Silverchord drops their new single "Good Friend". The song is a total earworm, and the only way I can get my fix is to request it during his streams lol.
