So I got acknowledged and re-noised by the official noise.cash account today. That's pretty wild and awesome in its own right; but what I really want to say is how incredibly wholesome it's been to see people actually clicking through to the original post and tipping/hearting it as well. The renoise by u/noise.cash had a comment, so any hearts/tips on it would go right to their post. I don't have any problem with that, either - I think that people aggregating and spreading fun and original content (even if it is just a shitpost relating to current times/events) are just as worthy as people creating the content. But to see people taking the time to make one more click to credit the creator of the content was absolutely unexpected and uplifting. Keep on being awesome, Noise community! ❤🤘🏻 [EDIT] So I think I might have been wrong here - a lot of the tips were actually on the noise.cash post itself, but "renoise-with-comment" tips are actually split with a majority of the tip going to the content owner, and a small percentage going to the renoiser. Be warned, this also means that if you re-noise a spammer to call them out and somebody tips it, the spammer is getting most of that tip. :\
