Goodmorning Noise! How are things going today? Sorry I was so silent yesterday... Weekends tend to be quieter internet days for me, as I'm not attached to a computer for 7 hours during the weekend days haha. @Anonymousone made an unofficial Discord server for Noise if anybody's interested: https://discord.gg/GrjtyTsf8A I've also almost beat the NES game I've been playing for the past few days. Technically I did beat it, but there's a few things I missed and I kinda want to 100% this one... but I'm totally stuck as to where the last couple of items are in the game 😅 I should be on Twitch again tonight, though - I have a fairly erratic Twitch schedule, so if anybody wants to watch just follow me on twitch.tv/abraxas86. I'm not begging for followers on there, I just really don't have a Twitch schedule and if you follow me, then you get a notification when I go live. I'm still on the fence about what to do next (which game to play and/or if I should take a swing at some programming stuff?) Also, to somebody who reads this and knows who they are - I'm sorry for shitting on your night and ending things on less than good terms. I want you to know that I'm not mad at you or your beliefs. We broached a subject that is really personal to me and goes against a lot of what I believe in. I understand why you hold the beliefs that you do, and I'm not going to persecute you for thousands of years (and generations upon generations) of indoctrination. You're an awesome person, don't forget that. I should end with a song... this one's a bit short, so let's do two today. The first is a surprisingly mellow song by an otherwise really heavy band. Acoustic instrumentals from metal bands are almost always amazing to listen to. They're really able to incorporate classical music elements while maintaining a darker mood. This particular song gives a vibe that makes me a "Pyrrhic Victory" kind of vibe to it. Imagine winning a long, arduous battle and at the end looking back at the real cost of lives and damage and wondering if there really is a "winner". I'm not entirely sure what the meaning of this song is, but it kind of gives me the vibes of getting somebody back in your life that you thought you'd lost forever - whether it be due to another person taking them away, or losing them to a cult. The first two verses kind of sound like that person clearing their mind and coming back around. This isn't really my mood for today, just a couple songs that are relatively obscure that have been running through my head. One thing I like doing is trying to introduce people to songs that aren't all that popular, but that I think deserve more listens than they ever got.
