@Noise.Cash - I hate calling out to you guys like this. I know you're busy. I know you're a small team. I know you have a lot of work to do on here still... but we really need to talk about the content theft happening, because it's getting out of hand and these scumbag scamming wastes of megabytes are getting tips from our content that they've stolen. The scammers are also getting hostile toward people calling them out for stealing their content because it seems like reported posts don't end up going anywhere in the end. I know that creating some sort of system to prevent this from happening is going to take time, and I know that every adjustment that's made runs the risk of affecting legitimate users... But there's gotta be something we do to try to clean up some of this mess. I've done a fair amount of trawling to find stolen content; but at the end of it all, I'm in a helpless position. Aside from reporting the stolen content and rating the users, the only other thing I can do is comment back on the OP's post with links back to everything that's been lifted in hopes that they do the same... But then, that also just means more duplicate reports for you guys to have to weed through. Maybe part of the problem is censorship; but even if that's the case, just force citations on any content that admins remove so if anybody has a problem there's always a link back to the original post to prove that the deleted ones were all stolen. It's getting late here, so I'm prob gonna call it a night soon... Let us know what we can do to help keep this place clean. In my opinion, you guys are paying me FT... writing decent content should be a given even on sites w/o money involved... helping out around here is simply earning my keep.
