One thing about non-theistic Satanism is that we don't believe that gods and devils actually exist. To hail Satan is to hail yourself and each other. When you don't believe in a god, you're forced to take control of your own life - you take accountability for your screw ups, and you take credit for your achievements. In a sense, the lack of gods leaves you all to becoming your own god creating your own path through life. Here's a silly banner I made a while back. #Satan

It has always been strange to watch a Satanist in a world created by God, from whom Satan fell away, and in the end Satan always loses and will be defeated. Oh yes, Satan will take many human souls with him - this is his food.
This thread deserves a lot more love!! As a Pantheist I can totally stand with/behind the idea of non theistic Satanism. I am however also a Pagan... I am a pantheist pagan punk. haha. I have for a very long time believed that we, ourselves, are the gods. As such it is our duty to preserve and protect one another as well as nature, it is for us to create that which serves not only us but nature as well. I don't believe that the gods are beings or entities that walk the earth or heavens, the gods are all around us, in everything we think, see, feel and do. I have studied a lot of the abrahamic faiths and others which have lead me to the path I walk, a blend of all that once was, currently is and that which I hope and believe will be....
Exactly. I do decent things because of my own moral scale, not one thrust upon me from some unkown source. I take full accountablity for my actions. .so I better be sure of them.
