They put it to an account that is only for the website. Afterwards you can send it to the wallet you want

  Each device I'm on has its own wallet - I meant, how does Read decided which one of *those* wallets gets the money. Is it the one that published the story?

    Oh. I don't know, maybe on the wallet you posted with. Or the one you opened the notification with ? I don't know I synchronized all my devices and have the same wallet on each

IIRC, it's based on which device you last accessed read.cash with. Should be in one of those articles I linked you to over on noise.cash.
