I'm seeing a lot of buzz about "S Done" comments and I thought it would be cool to have an open discussion on this one. In my opinion, since we don't get notified when people sub to us (or who is subbed) it's kind of nice to see who subbed. Maybe they dig your profile, but they don't have any constructive comments to add. I'm totally okay with the "S Done" thing (at least until Noise adds notifications and/or ways to see who's subbed) The thing that grinds my gears is the "S Me" thing that some people put after. The subs are appreciated, but you should be following people because you find them interesting. There shouldn't be some obligation that because you follow me, I should follow you back. If your content seems cool, I'll give you a follow. I try to check our the profiles of everybody that interacts with me via comment or tip. I think part of the "S Done S Me" problem is simply happening due to lack of subscription notifications on profiles. If Noise adds this one feature, it could cut down on a ton of spam. sidenote: We also don't get notified when our posts get renoised, either... :(
