Why can't they put the drive info on this side of the drives (picture 1)? One of these is a 4TBZ that I need to yank to use as an empty slot to consolidate 2 or 3 drives onto a new 4tb drive. Then I can free up some drive bays, plug the old drive back in, then plug the two new 4tb drives in. I'll just be happy when it's done lol. Computer projects never seem to go as smoothly as they should for me. I think this might be part of why I work in IT now... Because I've gotten myself out of so many jams it just comes naturally now 😅

It’s simple, as my old IT Team Leader once told me “We’re in the business of making money, not being efficient” I’m so glad I don’t work in IT anymore.
That's probably because in the old days those drive stickers are actually visible.
I Have the exact same drive. I was given a "Thank you" amazon.com (lol american Manager) giftcard and grabbed one. Took me a while, but I finally did a new build and included it. Lots of space for all of my legitimately owned movies and TV shows!
