Been having some trouble with earwigs getting in my house again. It's a seasonal thing, but hasn't been too bad the last few years. This year it's bad again. Created a trap and put it out front of my house. I feel a bit bad since the trap is outside, which is technically their home. It should attract them and keep them out of mine, I just wish I could set it in my house so it *only* kills the ones that break in. The trap itself is just olive oil and soya sauce, and in the past it's been super effective.

I know your dilemma. Not easy to find a good solution that discourages unwanted guests to come in, while at the same time not disturbing their home. I have similar with ants in spring.
Oh sorry to hear that..keep safe..
Wait, so does that means the olive oil and soya sauce will attract all of them around themselves and if they touched it, it will kill them?
