Bangladesh is a land of rivers.the country is crisscrossed by hundreds of rivers.mant rivers. many rivers spread over the land like a net.many of these rivers are wide and long.among them the big rivers are the padma the jumuna the meghna the karnaphuly,the teesta the buriganga etc.the small river rise in the rains and dry up in the winter.waterways grealy help trde and commerce. the rivers help a lot in the progress and prosperity of the country.it plays a great role. the rivers are the source of joy and sorrow too.without rivers water transfer canot ply.this is cheaper than other tranports.hat bazr bandar etc grow on the banks of the river.village markets too grow up on the banks.therefore the rivers act as the veins of the country without which a country can't remain alive.so we should take care of them.

Bangladesh is the land of rivers. There are more than 600-700 revers all over Bangladesh. Padma, meghna. Jamuna are the big rivers of Bangladesh.
