Got caught in a lift (elevator) due to a power failure. It's happened before, so I knew I just had to wait for the backup measures to automatically happen. Lights and fan went off briefly and the lift stopped. After a few seconds, an emergency lamp turned on and the lift started inching to the next floor with its battery back up. There was also a recorded voice saying that automatic rescue was activated. In a few more seconds the lift doors opened and I stepped out. Nothing to panic or get scared about. With powercuts a couple of times in a day, this is not uncommon!
