My phone is heating up quite a bit these days. I used it for regular surfing and stuff now and it felt very hot. The temp had gone up to over 48 degrees. That's hot! I wonder if there's a fix for this. It's very annoying.

Yes, there is. I have a problem with a phone that's got a faulty temperature sensor and is always telling me it's too hot, even when idle. Turn off your WiFi access, put it into airplane mode and/or switch it off and put it in the freezer in a Ziploc bag or sealed container on top of an ice brick when you're not using it. Then, keep it in the bag on the ice brick when you use it. The simples!
