Life in province "School Days"

I remember when i was still in elementary school our situation was very difficult,Because we lived in a far away Mountain,far from school,so our mother woke up us too early,so that we can leave at home early and not be late for our class.We walk a long way before we get to school with my siblings and cousins .We walk more than an hour!Even if its far away,we can get in so it's ok for us even if it's far Away.

Our parents really dreamed that we can study so that we wont be like them who could not finish school because of the hardships of life.The only scary thing there is when it rains because when it rains we can get in school because we have a big river that we cross.When it rains it really floods epecially when it continues raining.Ao we cant really to school,our teachers know that they understand us.

sometimes we are late for class because of the distance we walk.Then after class we need to get home we dont have to go anywhere,because we can be caught at night but its really unavoidable,because we were kids back then we liked to watch television so we evwn watched for a while.We didnt have electricity so we dont have any electric appliances like television.So we just watch when we pass something.Once we experienced that the owner of the house close the door even though we were in outside there watching.But why is it that there are people like them? Who also experienced it the door closed by the owner of the house?

Others are just lucky not to experience what we have experienced before.Many times we also caught up at night so what we do is we take the dried coconut leaves and then we light it so thatwe are not in too dark. Even though its scary we just have fun talking to ourselves,but my other cousins are always teasing us,they scare us so i really dont want to give up on walking,i want to be in the middle when Im behind,im thinking a lot like scary things hahhahaha,Im just thinking advance!

When we have homework in the morning we do it because its dark we only use lamp so when we wake up in the morning we do it quickly or maybe we finish it at school.Life in province was so ddifficult,especially when my parents lost their livelihood,the abaca used to run out.Now it seems that we dont have abaca anymore.

sometimes we Run out of rice then we borrow from our neighbors.So that we have something to eat when we go to school.But if we cant borrow to our neighbors no choice we cant go to school its really sad it happens many times!So i work hard at my studies so that my parents would not to say anything.even though im shy,but i try to study hard .I endire tiredness everyday because of our school far away,I just enjoy it even when im tired.Before every recess time it was enviable because my classmates had a lot of food,but me i only have 5 pesos !so my sister and i go to store to buy only an ice candy that makes us happy.Sometimes we dont have,but its ok for us cause the important is we can Attend class everyday .Even we dont have Money to buy on recess time,kakain nalang kami ng Kanin sa Tanghalian namin!

Im always thankful to god even in the extreme hardships of life we still survive he does not leave us alone he always on our side!
