Ana feels curse but that, turns her life to a more meaningful and beautiful Life (Short Story)

**2nd- July 03, 2021** Ana is belong to a poor and a big family. Her parents are both farmers. She is the eldest among her six siblings. She questioned her parents why she have a lot of siblings when their family is poor. Not that she don't want to have a lot of siblings and a big family it just that she pity her siblings experiencing hungry, lack of clothes, lack of money, and her parents can't afford their studies, where parents should think first before having a big family. Ana knows that she need to do something, to help her siblings and her parents. She need to stop her studies becuase her parents can't afford her studies in college anymore. She don't want to but she don't have a choice. Also she needed to have a work immediately for one of her siblings got sick. She don't know what to do but she need to make a way. She knows her parents, they already okay with the traditional way of curing a person and just wait for the healing process. Ana knows that, because when she got sick, her parents didn't buy any medicine, and didn't put her in the ospital even she told them that she can't endure her headache, and she felt dizzy and weak but her parents just told her to drink a lot of water and tommorrow she will be fine. Ana don't want her siblings to experience that, she wanted to put her sibling in a ospital for better treatment and she want to know the reason why she got sick. Unlike before when she got sick, her parents just comfortable and leave her at home even she needed care and attention from them. She's not like her parents. She knows the feeling of not feeling well and without caring and attention from their parents. As elder sister she will show the love that her parents can't give to her siblings. Ana understand her parents to make a living, for if they don't go to work they don'thave food to eat for the day. That's how hard life for them. Her parents salary is just for the food. That's why after graduating high school she stopped. One thing she wanted to say to her parents is to get attention to her sibling who is sick. Because she only knew that she was suffering an anemia when she asked the school nurse in their school about her condition before. The school-nurse check her up and she told Ana to take vitamin for blood. Ana recommended to take a ferrous sulfate once a day and luckily the school nurse gave her some ferrous-sulfate good for one year. Ana was thankful to the said nurse because she was kind enough and it really help her to treat her condition that she never knew. That's why she wanted to put her sibling in the hospital to get her check-up and know the reason why she got sick. She's worried, what if is not a simple sick just like her before. If this will not treat immediately, this will lead to complications and problems. Ana went to her friend before and asked her some money. Ana was surprised that the parents of her friend offered her a job as a maid. She was crying, because she needed that job immediately. Her friend thought they did something wrong but Ana is just happy. Ana was ashamed to ask to get her two months salary immediately, she told to her friend first then she's the one to say to her parents. Ana knew that it is shameful to ask but she promised that she will do her work properly and start immediately as long as her sibling will get okay. Ana explained to her boss her situation and she was lucky that she was not judge instead they offer money and food for free. Ana said No, but they insisted it. After going home, she told her parents about her plan to put her sibling in the hospital and after her sibling will get well she will leave her family to work to her friend's house as maid. Her parents agree to her plan for its favourable to them. After three days in the hospital, Ana was very happy and felt relief for her sibling is already okay and the doctor allowed them to go at home. She was happy when her parent's phil health ID covered all the bills. Ana was thankful to God that even they are poor, God provide everything for them. That there are still hope for them to get comfortable life in the future. After going home, Ana prepared all her clothes for she needed to get ready for her work tommorrow. Ana thought she will just going to work as maid and she was ready for that, even for lifetime because she knows never in lifetime her parents will let her study in college for what they've been working is just for their meal everyday. Sometimes its not enough for the three meals and snacks is not included. Her siblings must sufferef a lot but Ana hope that one day their family will also have a comfortable life. Ana was very surprised because her boss offered her a full time scholarship in college. She don't know how to react becuase she already accepted that she will not going to study in college. In fact her priorities now is her siblings, to give them what thier parents can't afford like new clothes, new sandals, bag, and money in order for them to buy foods and snacks. Also she wanted to save some money for the renovation of their house becuase when it rains water drops above and water flows everywhere. Ana wanted to study but the situation of her family stopped her. She wanted to accept the scholarahip but she doubt if she can. Because Ana is not that smart but diligent. But her Boss force her to accept the scholarship because this is already a big ipportunity to her. "**Instead of giving it to another people, why not you Ana, you need this scholarship for your dreams and most especially for your family"** her boss said. After five years as working student Ana felt happy as she received her diploma. Yes, she didn't graduate on time because of their thesis study, she lost her scholarship that time but her boss helped her a lot. She thought its already end of the world. She thought all her effort, sleepless night, overtime studying was already wasted. She thought thet her dreams as a reporter/writer ended. She thought she woud disappoint her family but all her thoughts turn to a beautiful and meaningful life because after graduation her bos positioned her as magazine writer in their company. **From a poor family to being maid Ana now called the lady of the boss/magazine writer of the year.** Ana felt curse before because she belong to a poor and big family. Her parents only afford their meals everyday and they are not that caring but Ana understand that for they are busy everyday. Maybe caring them is not their language of love but the fact that they working for their meals everyday is already enough for Ana to be thankful to her parents. Ana felt curse because she thought theres no way for them to have a comfortable life. She thought she would stay as maid forever. Thanks to her Boss for the encouragement, for the scholarship, for the support, for the job before and after for she don't know where she is right now without their help. After a year working with her boss Ana renovated their house and help her siblings in their studies. Her parents is not working anymore for Ana wanted them to have some rest and to be a fully parents to her siblings. Ana realized that God is working in every people's live. When you think that you're alone, curse, nothing, and hopeless God allows you to experience those for you to test your faith and to feel your success after. God is working when we feel alone and hopeless God is there,acknowlede his ways and you will fall into His beautiful and meaninful plan of your life. **Ana felt curse but that curse she felt made her life more meaningful and beautiful to share.** Author's note: This short story is a pure imagination. I can't think any topic to write but my mind imagined this story!
