The recent fire accident in Bangladesh 

Two days ago a massive fire accident occurred in our country. The whole country is now in deep shock. 49 people have died and are still counting. Almost five hundred people are injured. This havoc makes people shocked. It has shown us our shortcomings. 60 hours have passed but still now the fire Isn't completely stopped. 

Fire enlightens us. Sometimes this fire makes us burn. It has both sides. Good and bad. When it is good it makes our life easy. But when it is bad it makes our life hell. Just imagine that 49 people have died and are still counting. They have burned to death. How uncertain life is! They all have family and most of them are labour who belong to poor families. 

This conflagration happened in a shipping depot in Sitakundu, Chittagong, Bangladesh. There was a huge amount of chemicals preserved in that depot. Still now we don't know the actual reason behind this conflagration. Even still the fire has not totally stopped. 

This accident happened in the middle of the night. And you guys know how dangerous fire becomes when there is chemical. Fire spread so quickly and it became dangerous suddenly. They called the fire rescue team. But it was more dangerous than their ability. 

Bangladesh is a less developed country. We are improving our conditions. Our fire rescue team does not have sophisticated equipment in hand. But they are our heroes. They fought for humanity. But the saddest news was that 12 members of the fire rescue team had died. It was shocking news for us. They are fighters. They were at a standstill in their duties. They gave their life in the service of the country. 

Some media claiming that there was misinformation which is the cause for the death of rescue team members. Government has already talked about this. Hoping that they will investigate it very well. 

Now I want to share with you something about humanity that we have seen in this event. I can't share you with pictures because I was not on the site and Facebook’s picture is not allowed here i think… 

Voluntary services of mass people.. 

After occurring this massive incident, people of that area have played a humanitarian role. They did what was needed at that time. They support people with which they can. Mass people have played the role of a volunteer. They helped the rescue team as much as possible. They helped to move the dead bodies. They helped those who were injured. They took injured people to the hospital.

Blood donation:

Celebrities of our country shared a post on social media that a massive fire accident occurred in Chittagong. Immediately there will be a need for huge blood for different blood groups. People of the area responded to these calls and they donated huge blood. Almost five hundred people were injured but there was no shortage of blood. Huge donors have donated their blood. I think this is the best example of humanity. 

Free medicine. 

Many farmacy owners have helped the injured with free medicine.  Even many people helped them with money for medicine. There was a huge line for free medicine. The line was for people who want to help people with free medicine. They stood with placards. In these placards they wrote that if anybody needs any medicine please come to me. I have never seen such kind of humanity in my life.

Free transportations.

People who are engaged with transportation have helped needy people with free transportation. There were middle class people who drive normal taxis. But they did a great job. They are not rich but they are rich hearted. There were five hundred injured people. It was impossible to manage an ambulance for every injured person. Those middle class taxi drivers helped them. Even they helped the relatives of those injured people. 

This incident has taught us so many lessons. First of all our rescue team needs more sophisticated equipment for fire service. Secondly, we need to make rules and laws for chemical preservation. Thirdly, humanity is the best virtue. Helping needy people at the time of danger can decrease the mist havoc consequence. 

It is not the first time Bangladesh experiencing this type of havoc. This is a heavily densely populated country. And because of this dense population when fire accidents occur it becomes dangerous.
