Finding Peace Amidst Chaos
In times of trouble, staying sane always proves to be extremely impossible in difficult situations but one thing that i have learned is the key for getting through the moment is by staying calm. But finding peace when everything is falling apart? That is a goal that is hard, but not impossible to achieve. **What does peace mean here?** Peace is the feeling of calmness when everything around you is falling apart, it is when you can breath in between two walls of pressure that seem to be trying to suffocate you. Peace here means having enough focus to count your breath, until you calm down. Peace here is when you somehow just feel the light at the end of the tunnel even without reaching it. **What does peace mean staying calm?** You may be asking yourself if peace means to stay calm, even when your emotions get heightened automatically in a sensitive situation. The answer to that is we can’t control our reaction to the happenings around us, but when the reaction takes place we can get out of our head and be present at that moment. Feel it, acknowledge that it is happening then take a deep breath and start thinking of a way forward. I’m in no way saying that it is impossible to solve the problem, or jump over them while under pressure but while staying calm, the process become easier. **How do you find the peace** **First step is asking yourself what went wrong in the first place?** By asking that question you will find yourself taking a step back to reflect on the method you have used in executing the plans that have gone wrong, or the factors that convinced you to make that certain decision, and it could be that the whole thing was never in your control. When you figure that out, it helps you in sighting what you could’ve done differently, that would help you learn something for future reference. A lesson always does the trick. It could also be that it was never in your control, and i am a huge believer in destiny(it’s okay not to be) but it always helps me knowing that it was never up to me to begin with. Think of the procedure as an exercise of some sort. Whenever something goes sideways, it may either be because of a number of reasons that could not be your fault and if it is your fault then you need to own up to it for your own sake. Your decisions in life lead to a lot of finalities, and they don’t solely depend on how you execute the missions. You could put all you have into a project, but it may not yield the desired results and that is absolutely okay because all that matters is that you have given it your best. Give yourself all the credit you deserve for even the littlest of things, so that when things go wrong you have some solid foundation to keep you from crumbling. Even if you crumble, you have the ability to build yourself up from the scratch, so trust that. I hope this helps someone out there. You’re amazing.
