Selling in the bear market is acceptable if you day trade. Essentially, you buy the dips and sell the slight 20-50% pumps. On large sums, you can make very significant gains, especially if you dabble on the riskier side of things by using leverage. Personally, I don't bother and simply add to my bag and diamond-hand Hodl
