A first time Mom

What is the essence of being a woman? We heard it many times in a pageant right? For you, what is the essence of being a woman? For me, an essence of being a woman is defend on their destiny. Not all woman got married, bear a child and have a family. Some woman choose a single blessedness journey. So you cannot said that the essence of being a woman is to bear a child. An empowered woman. There are plenty of woman that has been succeeded on there choosen field. Some had a helping hand. Some are influencer or advocate. Some are trying to fight for the right of the woman. When i was young, I heard that the answer to the question is to bear a child and be a mother. Her answer is quite impressive but I will add more. Being a mother is not enough. You need to be a good mother. A good example to your children. An image that take thier standard to the woman that they are going to marry. I am a first time mom with an 18 months old baby boy. Being a mom is not just bringing a child to the world, but being a good mother also. I remember how excited and fearful I was when I am pregnant. I always tell my baby how Im happy I was to have him. I take good care of myself so that he is healthy too. Until the day came, i need to undergo on Ceasarian Section because he is breach and cord coil. I never wasted time and tell my OB to do the CS already. All of this is new to me. A journey of being a mother. I am adjusting a lot. My slim body was gone, I am forgetting more things due to anesthesia. I also suffered on depression sometimes but I fight because I love my son. I want to be a good mother to him. A good example when e grew up. I want to support him all the time. I want to be the best mom to him. I am so excited for the years that will come. To see him go to school. To teach him an assignment. To see him being independent. Om my , I am smiling right now thinking a lot of things about him in the future 😊 -- Mommy Yen
