Memorable moments of my childhood. One of the most unforgettable moments of our life is our childhood days. I am blessed because I enjoyed it together with my playmates and try different things independently. I am blessed because not all children have the freedom to do what they want because of many reason. I remember the article of Eybyoung before about her childhood. She didn't enjoy her child because at the very young age she needs to be responsible because of thier situation. I also remember the article of Ruffa about her childhood and it seems that her childhood was full of laughter and enjoy because I felt it when I was reading her article about her as a revengeful kid. My children is not 100 percent because or enjoying. I also face a lot of challenges before especially regarding with my family but I choose not to remember about it and focus on the enjoyable moment when I was a kid. I live in the province and I must say that province life is more enjoyable when you are a kid because you have the freedom to go around unlike in the city you are just staying in the house all day watching TV and go outside the house when the sun is resting or going to the mall or park when your parents have some budget. As a children , my life is not complicated as my life like now as an adult. Maybe you will face some problems but it's all because of your playmates or the food that you don't want to eat. It's all because of skipping for the noontime sleep because you want to play outside with your playmates. There's no big problems that time. The only worsts problem I encountered that time was when my parents shouted at each other because of misunderstanding but this is not the topic I will share to you. I don't want to be stress again thinking about all of that. Today I will share to you some of my memorable moments when I was a kid that maybe some users here who lives in the province will be relate. ***Cooking and making a house outside.***

When I was a kid, this is the most favorite play in our compound. We build a house out of bamboo or other wood that we can found anywhere and we cover it with banana leaves or sometimes rice sacks. As playing a bahay bahayan we have also a mother father and children and we do role playing and pretend that we respect the parents and do household chores like we do in true life. The father also leave the house because he needs to work and the mother will cook for our food. Back then , my role was always a children because I'm small and I had an elder playmates and they are the ones who did the role of mother and a father. We cook on the tin cans or a coconut shell and our ingredients is different leaves that we see in the backyard. I know you also do this , don't deny it. But sometimes we also do the real cooking because we live in the province my playmates knew on how to make a fire that we need in cooking. So what will do is we have different task assigned to us. For example , I will get some rice to our house and my other playmates get some sardines and spices on thier house and we get some Vegetables on the backyard just to make our lutu lutuan for real and we eat it in the banana leaves with our hands. ***Swimming in the river or flood.***

When I was kid , I am so happy when I saw flood because my thinking that time is that I can swim and play with the flood together with my playmates not knowing that the flood is full of dirt. When the flood level is already on our knee or waistline we will go swim to the flood and we also do a boat out of banana trunk. Nowadays I can longer see kids swimming at the flood because thier parents will not allowed them but on our childhood days our parents allowed us. I don't know know why they allowed us even if they knew that it's dirty. We also go to the river without our parents permission because they will not allowed us because it's dangerous but because they are hardheaded we still go on the river and we didn't inform them. What will going to do is we undress ourselves so that our clothes will not be wet and our parents didn't know that we go to the river. But sometimes our plan is always not working because of one person who makes tell our parents that we go to the river. I remember one time one of the parents caught us in the act while swimming and she was handling a piece of bamboo stick that is so painful onced you but by it. My playmates run up to thier house and hide under the bed. We clearly heard his cry because of the pain coming from the bamboo stick. ***Buying an ice candy or anything in a far away place.***

I still remember the ice candy that we bought everytime we have some money. This ice candy was so delicious and it only cost 1 pesos. It is pinipig flavor and it's very unique but that ice candy is only available in the baranggay next to our baranggay. I think it's one kilometer away from our house but still we walk just to buy some ice candy. Anyways , walking is fun that time because you have your friends with you. We also go on the market every Sunday just to look for anything in the market. Because we are kids that time we don't have money to buy so we just look around. After we do that we go on our favorite spot , it is the store where the items are 5 pesos each or sometimes 2 pesos each. We will buy some ballpen or ponytail from the money that we have and we walk going to the house with a smile and very hungry because it's far. ***Playing little miss Philippines.***

I am smiling while remembering it. This is the time where we show our hidden talents hahaha. We pretend to be a little miss Philippines, decorate ourselves with some flowers and fold out dress to make it more sexy and I remember the famous dance that time that always perform in little miss Philippines, this is the lyrics : ***Eeny weeny teeny weeny shriveled little short short man*** Sounds familiar? Maybe you also dance this when you was a kid. And ofcourse every competition has a winner and sometimes we fight because thier bet is not the one who choose and then we began to snob each other and said " Dina namin kayo bati " . It's like friendship over. ***This is just a few list of my memorable moments on my childhood. Are you somehow related to this?***
