Fresh Lumpia-One of my comfort food. Theres a food here in the Philippines that I liked, I called it one of my comfort food because back then when I was stressed I just go to Starmall Shaw and I bought some Fresh Lumpia in Katie's. I dont know if its still on there stall because its been 2 years since I left Metro Manila but if youre in Starmall , it is located in ground flour near the side entrance of the mall š
Fresh lumpia is a Filipino dish that looks like spring rolls but it is made by mixed vegetables , an egg wrapper and a garlic peanut sauce. You can also add some shredded chicken, shrimp or ground pork or beef. Aside from this dish is a light meal. It is also healthy. It is called fresh lumpia because it is not fried like spring rolls. I have also a favorite store aside from Katie's . It is located in our provice and the Fresh Lumpia there is so delicious and affordable.
These photos where taken while we visited Chef's G Kitchen in our province. They offered combo meal. When you buy a Fresh Lumpia and a Halo Halo ( Shaved Ice Parfait ) it only costs 70 pesos and if you buy a single order of fresh lumpia , you will pay 50PHP. Its so affordable right? All there food were delicious but Fresh Lumpia is the best for me. ***Why I love Fresh Lumpia?*** I love vegetables. I love the crunchiness of the vegetables while I am eating Fresh Lumpia. I am also a fan of peanut sauce that's why I am so inlove with that dish. The crunchiness of vegetables and a soft egg wrapper and a touch of peanut and garlic sauce is actually a perfect combination for me. Every time I ordered Fresh Lumpia I always bought an extra sauce š

We usually cook this when there's occassions but i don't eat the lumpia wrapper part šš

madali lang yung sauce nyan. cornstarch soysauce sugar and garlic lang saka water :) medyo matrabaho gawin yung wrapper nya.

This seems odd but until now I haven't eaten a fresh lumpia š Lumpia is one of my favorites though.
