A few days ago, I cooked sinigang for lunch. For me Sinigang is best when you add a taro and water spinach or camote tops. My father in law said, you cannot add water spinach if there's a taro. Just put some pechay/cabbage. I follow my recipe. I used water spinach. Now, he has an issue again. He said when cooking adobo, dont add sugar because Adobo has no sugar. Adobo is our lunch today and I added some sugar because I want a touch of sweet on it. I just keep silent and walked away haha. Kainis! Is there any problem with my cooking? By the way, I learned my cooking skills on my father which is Ilocano. So definitely, hes good on cooking. Tsk

Ilokano's a good cook po n maybe your father in law is just not used with that way of cooking po, mommy yen n let him be po, eventually, he won't be complaining soon
We will be going home tommorow so hindi na talaga sya makakapagbigay ng opinyon. I dont think that its complaining. I just want to say that each of us has a version of our own cooking. Kainis lang pakinggan na hindi naman daw nilalagyan ng asukal yung adobo. Who said that? Tsk.
