One of my biggest fear, fires. My son couldn't go to school these past 2 days due to a wild fire of the meadows behind his school, the very same day the meadow took fire, in a building near that area an apartment took fire too. As you can see it's on the 2nd floor. I felt very bad seeing this... And immediately a thought came into my mind If it happens to me😱 what will I do? I'm so scared I must confess it Good morning Noisers

Fires can be so scary. I hope there was no damage to anyone in the fires you've mentioned.
Unfortunately I don't know but I wish that family to find a new home as soon as possible!
Yes, as everyone say its better get robbed than to experience the fire.
I wonder if that apartment can be restored... It must be terrible to loose a house and nit knowing where to go!

Do you live in a condo or building? That's the scariest thing to happened a fire. It's hard to evacuate in a place like that. I hope all are safe.
I live in a private 2 floors building with 5 apartments. My apartment is on the top, at second floor. The building where there was the fire is a big condo of 7/10 floors and it's like a big rectangle... There are a lot of apartments so yes it is very hard to evacuate it in case of emergency!
Oh. But if you had a choice do you like to live in a house or an apartment type or a condo? I'm afraid of condos just like you said it's hard to evacuate in case of fire and earthquakes too especially when you're in the higher floor.
I don't like condos too many people! It depends on the place you are living if it is a place subjected to hurricanes or earthquakes... I would think of security first...
Now here in our country it's the beginning of storm season until around January-February. You live in a city right? I do live in a province so we had not that big land but its spacious. About security it's a safe neighborhood too. But sometimes there's bad things happening like thieves but it's happening everywhere. I always close and locked our door before it gets dark to be sure because it's only me and Zoe in the house although my cousin's house is just right in our backyard.
😱 yes lock your doors and windows well hun! I hate thieves they are horrible people!
Windows downstairs has grills and our room is at the second floor. Yes it's horrible but it's okay if they just steal your belongings and not hurt you. The most horrible thing to happened is if they hurt you or raped you.
It's really deprecating! How can they be so bad?

The apartment has a lot of damage luckily just one person got some injuries, but actually nothing serious.
