And here it is, my lovely iron cast teapot bought last year online. I was expecting something of low quality actually cos it costed less than any other store, but I wanted to give it a try. The item arrived was over expectations and bigger! I absolutely fell in love with the flower design! #nofilterchallenge

It appears as if it comes from an ancient civilization, Roman, Greek, or Pharaonic.
It's kinda vintage yes ^^
I feel nostalgic just by looking at the photo mam.π
I cherish it like a precious item! Yep it seems vintage :)
Oh, that's lovely. It's tetsubin π²ππ It remind me of my grandparents house in Japan π―π΅ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetsubin So beautiful tetsubin you got! π²π
Oh wow! It is a tetsubin for real, no enamel inside, all iron! The one I've seen on sell in shops here were all with enamel, but I just wanted a real one I could use to make tea! They were also sooo pricey! 40/50β¬ for a small teapot. This one can do 900ml of hot water and I have spent 20β¬ shipping included!
Yup, tetsubin in Japan π―π΅ are expensive, but we usually use it all my life. I mean the cast iron is pretty durable and no need to replace due to quality. So, it is pricy, but it is durable and you can it for a long time π Enjoy it! ππππ
That was my impression too! A high quality item Arigatou gozaimasu

Bella da guardare e bella la foto con questo effetto antico. Buon sabato!
Buon sabato Simo! Ha fatto tutto la luce della finestra a dire il vero. Mi piaceva l'effetto finto bianco&nero!
