The article :Surveying Theories and Philosophies of Mathematics Education" by Sriraman and English can be describe as quite incomprehensible because of the words and terms used by the author. However, doing this article will surely help the educators to determine what philosophies and theories does mathematic posseses. According to Jena Piaget, cognition as a biologist viewing intelligence and knowledge as G biological functions of organisms.Von Gtasersfetd's view math as a radical constructivism.Paul Cobb and Heinrich Baursfed view math as social constructivism.Plato saidmath is unihed body of knowledge with an ontolgicat certainty and an in$attib(e underlying structure.Imre Lakatos is author of the book PROOFS AND REFUTATIONS; as constructivists' preference for Lakatosian (math as a subject to revision over time) Hersh (2006) said math is associated philosophy that should include voices, of cognitive scientists, linguistics, sociologist, anthropologist, and those who are interested mathematicians and philosophers.Proof and Refutations addresses the importance of the rote of history and consider historical development of mathematical concepts. It aims to bridge historians and philosophers.Past theories vs present theories, the theories become more prominent. Because of research elevation of theory in mathematics considered contradictory to the growing concerns for enhancing the relevance and usefulness of research.Theory of mathematics as:Structural is an organized and content system of concepts and nations in the mathematics education held. While Functional is a system of roots that permit a speculation about some reality.BourbGki and Dieudonn&'s approach steeped in an existentialist philosophy gave way to progmatic approach of Freudentha(humanistic element of doing mathematics)Didactique des mathematiques or The French Tradition (Ddm) Is study of process 09 dissemination of knowledge in mathematics. The Field of Mathematics has been greatly influenced over time by social, cultural and political dimensions of education, thinking and (earning which results to different synthesis, theories and philosophies. Some theories and philosophies tend to reexamine the nature and purpose of math education in relation to society.

I would like to subscribe to the philosophical view of Bauersfeld known as the social constructivism because I highly believe that No man is An Island therefore inorder to learn not just in mathematics, We need help form others. It can be groupmates, schoolmates or just in the circle of friends. However, I disagree with the socio-cultural construtivism because It is based on the culture of the learners, Some learners are trasferee or some have different culture than others. It would be difficult to teach mathematics based on cultures, thus there will be no.innovation in this part which is highly needed to adopt new ways of learning. I think the most applicable philosophical view in my locality is the social construtivism because as I have said earlier, It is better to have different perspectives in order to open new learnings. Grouowork and Activities that are done by grouo are much effective because of the brainstorming happening inside the circle and new doors are being opened. I remember when I was in Highschool, sometimes I cannot understand the lesson so, I ask my classmates and groupmates to explain it to me, this way I can throw confusions to my classmates and they can answer me right way. I believe that the radical constructivism is no linger relevant to this era because there are many ways on solving math problems. Something It has different solutions and can come up with the same answers. Innovation is the trend for this era. Different hacks and easier way to understand math are being taught to learners.
