Peptic Ulcers These are generally defined as holes in mucosa of any portion of gastrointestinal tract exposed to acids. It may be in esophagus , stomach , duodenum or in jejunum. It may be due to something Pressure exterting such as stones or normal harsh mechanism of body. It may be induced due to smoking or using extensive quantity of Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drusg NSAIDs such as aspirin or acetaminophen (Paracetamol). Tests are performed for this such as serology test or gastric hormones gastrin level check or blood test for loss of red blood cells.
