AC in the outdoors in Singapore

My Photography Clarke Quay, Singapore The Clarke Quay is located in a historical location at the mouth of the river Singapore upstream of Boat Quay. It was named after the second governor of Singapore, Andrew Clarke. Initially, Clarke Quay had warehouses where the boat would bring goods that were unloaded from the bigger boats at Boat Quay. Nowadays, the Clarke Quay area has been transformed into a mall with some warehouses and a cannery were restored and turned into nightclubs, shops, and restaurants. What is special as seen in the photo are the structures looking like big umbrellas. They serve 2 purposes, to protect from the rain and to keep the cold air from the outdoors AC units. Yes, you read that right, the tubes on the structures are AC ducts.
