The cry of Boholanos Bohol province is an oval-shaped island and is the tenth largest island in Philippine archipelago. It has 75 smaller island and lies southeast of Cebu Island and southwest of Leyte Island in Central Visayas Region.Bohol is haven of tropical natural beauty.Bohol also is one of the most visited destination and is the home of the the famous Chocolate Hills. People here then and now lives differently. If Bohol was then a harmonious province, after the unpredictable catastrophies that the province faced, people's lives changed really. From the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in 2013, Odette Typhoon in 2021, in which these two calamities really destroyed the houses of the people, the coming of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 which cause lay-offs. It is really a cry for everyone. That feeling that you are still on the way of repairing, reconstructing and rebuilding houses especially for those poor from the poorest people is a heartbreak that it was again washed out by the very strong typhoon odette. Wanna ask how is Bohol right now?... People here are trying surviving everyday, low salary wages with high price of basic commodities.Your 1 thousand pesos here its like 100 pesos already😥.It's hard.Boholano's have been through a lot, from chaos in the distribution of relief goods in this different calamities to experiencing no electricity, no internet connectivity. Though internet issue and electricity is bearable because that's how we use to live before. We can say that we are being punished. But all of this made each one of us strong and standing still. But what's heartbreaking here?...once there is price hike in everything (basic commodities, fair etc.)..it will never goes down as how it was before. I just hope the higher ups will reconsider implementing wage hike. I hope they'll feel those who are really needed to.Sad. Heartbreaking. But still hopefull.🙏
