Peace isn't silence — it's choosing not to shout back. There was a time when I reacted to everything. Every insult. Every misunderstanding. Every person who raised their voice. If someone threw fire at me, I burned back twice as hot. Because I thought silence meant weakness. That not defending myself meant I was losing. But I was wrong. I learned the hard way that peace isn’t just being quiet. It’s being powerful enough to walk away — without proving anything. Peace is when someone tries to provoke you, and you look at them with calm eyes and choose not to engage. Not because you can’t fight, but because you no longer need to. You know who you are. You know what you carry. You’ve made peace with your story — and no one else’s opinion can rewrite it. Silence, when chosen with wisdom, is one of the loudest powers you can hold. So now, when people come with chaos, I don't argue. I smile. I stay still. Because peace isn’t silence. It’s choosing not to shout back.
