Sometimes disappearing is how you return to yourself. There are moments when everything feels too much. People. Noise. Notifications. Expectations. You find yourself smiling when you’re tired, replying when your heart is silent. And then something inside you whispers: “Step back. Just for a while.” That’s when I disappear. Not to punish anyone. Not because I’m angry. But because I need to breathe in a space that belongs only to me. No voices. No pressure. Just stillness. It’s in that stillness that I hear myself again. The real me — not the version shaped by stress or tiredness, but the quiet soul underneath. I journal. I cry. I sleep deeply. I sit in silence with no goal except coming back to myself. And when I return to the world — I’m no longer running. I’m no longer empty. I come back softer. Quieter. And whole. So if you ever feel like vanishing for a bit — do it. You’re not being selfish. You’re just choosing to find yourself again. And that… is one of the bravest things a person can do.
