Teacher A name other than my mother That I owed why I am better Taught me to recognize those letters So I can write MY own future wiser Taught me how to count So I wont waste My time messing around Taught me How to solve problems That when I came across them I dont have to skip them Taught me to achieve The impossible ahead So when odds Are over my head Still I was able To thrive and move ahead.
