Wishing well Another coin tossed below Down this watered hole I know. I raised my eyebrow To everybody And to one among many Hoping their wish Maybe heard by somebody Without them knowing Their hopes fell On deaf ears only But their minds dreaming Playing tricks on them wishing Again sleep walking Into the wishing well Their grim fate waiting Their lives hanging.
